For hotel products, there may be discrepancies between the cancellation/refund policy presented to the customer during the booking process and those applied when reservations are made. Refer to this document for more information.
Cancellation and refund policy
- ONDA provides two categories of cancellation and refund policy: the static policy and the dynamic policy.
- For cancellations, the dynamic policy is applied.
What is Static policy?
- Static policy is the policy that is set per property. It is the more conservative set of cancellation and refund policies.
- The details of the policy can be found in the
refund_policy objectin the Search Property Detail. - Thus, a different set of cancellation and refund policy may apply when a customer cancels their reservation; the refund amount and the cancellation fee may be different from what was presented to the customer during the booking process.
What is Dynamic policy?
- Dynamic policy is the policy that is actually applied to the rooms and packages the customer books and it may vary by period.
- The details of the policy can be found in the Check Avail before reservation.
- The dynamic policy applies when a customer cancels their reservation
